Buying Verified Fan tickets for other 10 Club members

I have tickets to Baltimore, but I also registered for the VF sale. Obviously, I may not be selected for the VF sale or get tickets, but if I did, is there any reason I couldn't share them with someone from these boards? I know doing so would require meeting up at the venue, but any other issue?

    They'd have to walk in with you and all tickets scanned off your phone, or they'd need your credentials to log in on their phone

    Yes, I understand that. Meeting at the venue (to enter together). I guess I'm asking if doing so is a violation of the transferability rules (directly or in spirit).

    Yeah, you can't transfer them so you're setting yourself up for a massive pain in the ass at best. Just sit it out and let someone else who needs the VF presale to get a shot.

    I could be mistaken, but I believe that if you were awarded tickets for a particular show, you are not eligible to enter the VF sale for that show. 

    Now, if you are we’re thinking of trying to get tickets for a friend at a different show, that might work.

    If it was a violation, then why is it explicitly stated that we can buy from both offerings, and with VF we can buy up to 4?  No single person needs 4 tickets themselves (or 6 if acquired both ways), who else would use the other tickets, just immediate family members?

    Surely not, right? Then no one could get a 3rd (or 4th) ticket if they had a 3rd or 4th person wanting to go.

    In 2018, I won tickets through the lottery for both home shows and was selected for the VF sale.

    Now that's a good point. I'm sure there are some people here I wouldn't want tethered to me.

    Maybe? There weren't at Fenway in 2018, which was paperless. I see all downside to getting tangled up in this.

    Did not work this way in 2018. In Seattle we showed our phones on the way in, got no receipt, but were never asked to show our tickets again. At Fenway we again got no receipt but were repeatedly asked to show our tickets. It was a pain in the ass.

    It sounds like all tickets (10c and regular sale) are ticketsafe.   Hopefully that means they are all sellable and purchasable via the new fan portal.   It may be more difficult to send them to specific people, but hopefully the portal makes it easier to get rid if an extra pair (or acquire a pair).

    Here's the best case scenario:

    You front $250 for a pair of tickets you don't need. You find someone who wants the pair and reimburses you relatively quickly. Now you have to coordinate with everyone, who hopefully have the ability and desire to meet up and go in at the same time.

    I can think of about a dozen ways that this goes wrong or becomes annoying with zero upside. I say just let someone else buy the tickets and allow them the freedom that comes with possessing the tickets.

    Basically, I think it's easy to be in the old tours mindset without considering what the non-transferability really means
