New PJ Played Now?!

Im watching the NFC championship game and during the cutaways to
commercial they always play familiar songs, sometimes even PJ (especially for Seattle games).  

We’ll the last couple commercials have been completely foreign to me, but made me take notice.  Almost sounded like new PJ, and right as the last commercial was about to begin, a vocal briefly cut in that I swear is Ed.  Next commercial break I paid more attention and I’m almost sure it’s new music, I hear similarities to the Clairvoyants snippet.  Almost the whole 4th quarter left...heads up.

    Wasn’t sure about that.  The 2 clips before Incubus really perked my ears, but I don’t know about this one.  Maybe I’m crazy!

    Does Fox have an affiliation with PJ, like Bill Simmons?  Wouldn’t make sense otherwise why they would have clips.

    I know the snippet from the Simmons podcast.  There were 2 or 3 song snippets going into commercial of the NFL game that sounded similar, as in I could see them being from the same album.  Very similar vibe of the recordings, not the same as Clairvoyants per se, but like it was in the same vein, and a vocal sounded like Ed.

    Just listened to that new YouTube clip of the record playing a new snippet and realized that the last half second, when it kicks in, sounds like one of the commercial songs!  Wish I still had Directv...anyone DVR this game???
