How come ticketmaster is cheaper than 10c?

Before anyone starts, I'm not complaining, just asking.

The tickets are £35 on TM (I think they are singles and I dont think this includes any fees etc but that's beside the point).

I paid $181 for 10c which according to my credit card, is £95 (£47.50 per ticket) so I'm paying around £25 more with 10club than Ticketmaster!

I thought 10c tickets should be the same at least, if not less?

    I'm not sure were you get the extra £25 from as with postage and fees two £35 tickets work out at something like £82. Still expensive though.

    How did you get the £82? The £25 is the difference between the TM ticket and the cost of a single from 10c.

    The TM fees, while they do add to the overall cost, is kind of beside the point imo, though I agree it could push the price up way past 10c prices. I'm just comparing like for like here, as in the basic cost of tickets.

    The other half wants to go and see Ozzy the night after and I had a look at how much they were on ticketmaster.

    2 x tickets at £35 each = £70
    2 x "service charge" at £4.55 each = £9.10
    Postage = £2.75

    Total = £81.85

    This is going on the basis that the PJ tickets will incurr the same charges.

    Um, eh? How are you comparing like for like? The Ten Club prices include all the fees etc. What TC charge isn't just "the basic cost of a ticket". They have staff, servers, bandwidth etc to pay for just like Ticketmaster do.

    does seem a litle strange the price difference, but suppose we've bought tickets via a different means and are getting the prime part of the venue as such.

    I'm talking about seats, the basic cost of tickets for seats, whatever that incorporates. But I guess if its built into the cost then fair enough, I don't like the way that ticketmaster adds things on afterwards but I guess that's another issue.

    The price difference just makes me wonder, that's all.

    Which is bullshit. Our yearly membership dues should cover that.

    it's all inclusive, with Ticketmaster, once you've added the £5 booking fee and £4-5 for postage you end up the same.
    even going through Stargreen that doesn't charge so much for postage, it still ends up at £40 per ticket...would be £42+ with ticketbastards.

    my CC charged me £92.42 for both 10c tix (love Nationwide for overseas transacions :))..that's £46.21 each..yes it's more and shouldn't be..but not that much, and peace of mind has no price!
