    Right.  Nothing it super drivable on these rumored dates, and flying is a hassle too; be really great to have something local.

    KC would be great, but it will probably be St. Louis. Bummer because that's 2 extra hours in the car. Big difference between 6 and 8 hours. I'd love for them to come back to MN, but I feel like those days may be gone with them using major hubs like Chicago as the gathering for the non-coastal markets. We're lucky to get a show a decade at this point in their career.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    Same. Started pricing out flights and hotels to a few of the rumored spring dates. Shit’s expensive.  Hard to justify dropping $700 - 1000, possibly burning a day or two of vacation to spend 24-36 hours in a city to go to a 3 hour concert.  Don’t get me wrong it’s fun and all, but it be nice not have to.

    With rare exception (Lincoln, which is actually a nice little town), I have always said that I won’t travel to see a band if the show is in a city I wouldn’t otherwise want to visit.  Now, if I can drive it easily sure, I’ll visit say, Des Moines or something like that.  But driving only to end up in St. Louis for example (not a real great town, having been there), or flying only to end up in Baltimore, and the only real attraction is the show isn’t how I’d want to use precious time and money.   Some of the rumored shows would be great - Cali etc.  but to fly out there and spend money on hotels, airfare etc turns it into a big vacation, which is precisely why IF I’m going to travel for a show, shit, just make it a vacation!

    Im hoping for anything within 6 hours drive from here.  Anything longer is just too long in a car.

    Could be.  I think the fall will be a bit larger, as the new album will be out for more than a week, the songs will find their place in the sets.  Maybe we get a show?  I'll bet Wisconsin does.
