Visiting Seattle April 21 - April 27 2020

I am most certainly visiting Seattle during these dates.  I arrive in Vancouver from Toronto late on April 20th and have a car rented and will drive to Seattle on April 21st.  I am trying to do Seattle on a budget however that is proving to be more difficult than I thought.  I pretty much already know all the things I want to do and see.  I'm a big 90's Seattle Music Fan (Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, AIC).  Any advice and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.  Is there anywhere anyone could recommend to stay that would be more affordable that is nice area and not to far from the city where I'd find parking easier to leave the car and take public transit into city?  Since I will have a car finding what I would consider reasonable accommodation in the city with parking doesn't seem to exist.  I am travelling solo so I only require very basic accommodations but do like to have my own room with washroom.  Conversely is their anywhere anyone could recommend in the city that is no frills but clean and reasonably priced?  Along with an area outside of the city accessible by public transit that would be safe to leave park my car for my stay?

Thanks in advance for any tips!!!

The Moore Hotel (home of the Moore Theater) is cheap and in a great location. You won’t find them on Orbitz, Expedia, etc. I think they have a website or give them a call. I’ve stayed there in 2 and 3 bedroom suites.

I'm hoping to be at least passing through Seattle in 2020 on my way to Alaska.  One of the things I want to see is the relatively new Jimi Hendrix Park.  I donated some money to it's construction so figure I ought to at least go see it.
