Your best gift this holiday season?

If you participate in gift swapping during the December holiday season, please share the best/favorite gift that you received.

Spending time with your family is not a valid answer. I'm a material girl.

I'll start. I got this from the in-laws!

I'll have to break out the Kragle for this one.

I got a record that I wasn't so thrilled with and for some reason a bunch of dark chocolate from a few different people.  I'm a milk chocolate kind of guy so I gave it all to my wife.  So did that make me bah humbug?  Nah!  A great Dream Syndicate LP I bought arrived in the mail the day after Christmas.  Who needs chocolate when you have Steve Wynn and company spinning on the TT?!

The Pet Butler is hilarious.  Dog's face is, "the fuck have you done to me?"  (We all know cats would refuse to partake in such tomfoolery.)

And I love the Stranger Things house.

Me, I received a thoughtful and generous gift of a vibrating massage ball.

    For my back.

    Honest.

My mom had a pretty bad health scare a few months ago so spending time with her over the holidays was the best gift I could ask for.

Damn it, Jason! I guess you and your mom get a pass.

But you better have a good gif of a cat batting a toddler in the grapes or something.

So, um, just how big is that ball?

My husband got me PJ Unplugged and several 45's from The National. Pretty cool stuff!

As far as Legos are concerned, my 16 year old is still quite a fan. The neighbor bought her the Statue of Liberty Lego set. He also bought her some Star Wars ship. We bought her a few HP sets. She would love that Stranger Things set.

Big enough to be of use, but too big for THAT =)

My old company had a gingerbread house contest a few years ago.  Someone did the Stranger Things home and nailed it.

    I love that show!

  • Electric Toothbrush - Always wanted one never wanted to spend the money for a really good one. My wife got me a really nice one that the price tag was ridiculous in my opinion ( I think she got it on cyber Monday ). That said I wish I had gotten one 15 years ago feels like I just left the dentist office every time I brush my teeth.
