My first PJ show, 10c tickets, the closest I got was 2nd row the furthest 10th row or something... left side between Mike and Ed...

"The waiting drove me mad...", when I heard that I knew it was going to be awesome!

    black, betterman, crazy mary...

Why Go (for some reason this really got to me, I was so happy to hear it, I don't know why it's not even one of my favourite songs)...

Indifference, Hunger Strike, Baba O'Riley, Alive, Jeremy, Even Flow... every song was so great...

Even the news songs, which I didn't like as much, are now new favourites...

    great show.

pearlwax, I must have been close to you...
Neil, I'm sure I saw you now after reading your blog...remember when you were talking to this guy and a beach ball fell and everyone jumped back screaming? It must have been you!!! See you next time!

    edit: thirsty...

man, listening to the boot right now, it's so good
    THANK YOU, LOSTDAWG!

Listening to the booth for the, I think 40th time or so... Incredible.
We were so lucky to catch this gig.
After a bottle of wine I get tears in my eyes too when the crowd keeps on continuing the dudududu dududu at Black... :-) Amazing... Imagine the shivers the band must have felt at that time...

Don't get me wrong: I DO get tears in my eyes without the botlle as well,
but yeah, what the hell, it's just great...

    See ya next year!

Yes, you can't get enough of that...was a great decision to catch them in the Benelux, both the crowd and the band deserved each other!!!
Black was magnificient but that's the only moment when the bootleg cannot express how fuckin' loud and unforgettable the crowd was by singing, whistling, applause and foot noise:) I almost cried...and damn that security guy who did not allow me to shoot a loud video of Black (only the first minute) Shame on you!!!

It's been more than a month now...
I was in Paris (great Pearl Jam but unfriendly people around) and Vienna (which was a great show as well) but still I can't forget any second of Antwerp. This really was the best show I've ever been to! Maybe it is because it was my first PJ show... but I'd never felt such an intense emotion shared by thousands of people in my whole life. I get to cry anytime I listen to Black...

Thank you so much to Eddie and the band for being so good... Thank you so much to all of you who were there too...

    See you next year!
    I miss you already....

Yeah, you might be right...if I should pick ONLY one out of 3 shows (Arnhem, Antwerp, Vienna) I've been to then it would be A-N-T-W-E-R-P (but I don't want to choose, all of them were fabulous)!!!
    Go for Belgium!

I've been to three shows and all three of them were so amazing, magnificent, unimaginable, energetic, unique... . Arnhem was very very emotional... my first PJ-show ever... I almost got tears in my eyes! Antwerp... for the first time in Belgium... an amazing crowd... just listen to Black on the boot! And then Berlin... me standing on the first row at Mike's side... you really saw the expressions on his face... Ed shaking with a bottle of wine RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!!!!!! What more can I say?
So glad I've seen this three great shows (the best of my life).
A little bit sad I could'nt make more. (Hopefully next year!!!!!)

Many thanks to the band for... everything!

Sportpaleis looked giant but during the show it felt like pretty intimate because of those intense emotions...I was glad only few people started moshing but...they were punished so those guys didn't get behaving worse and worse...people must have had a really great time in common, they sounded really grateful after all those long long years of waiting almost in vain... I cannot imagine Pearl Jam will miss either Holland or Belgium ever again!

Well, I thought it was kinda small...how many people attended? Maybe 12,000? But the show was absolutely great...I can remember discussion with Dutch people if Arnhem was better than Antwerp or vice versa. I think both shows were absolutely great. They played Release in Arnhem, which was a highlight for me. On the other hand, Crazy Mary rocked the joint in Antwerp...so...in the end, I stick with both.

Security guards told us there that Sportpaleis was at maximum capacity >>> 21.000 ! We were told that's the exact number of the sold tickets. Maybe it sounds too much...I am not good at numbers...
But, goddamit, the venue was packed!:)

    Now gimme some truth!!!
These numbers always differ if it's a great show:)

RELEASE was I honestly hoped for(so I am not the only one:D)...and guess what was the first song I heard after 10 long years of f****n waiting???
    I deserved it!
    Thank you PJ!
One thing I know for sure: my 3 shows were altogether the best shows of my life so I'm not supposed to decide which one of them was closest to perfection!

Quite different venues, that's true, a little little bit more polite crowd in Arnhem IMHO, but both had the absolutely positive and supportive atmosphere...Could any of you turn back time to 29/08, please ???

And yes it was 17.000 people and i was one of the 30 people who got a free duo-ticket from the radio station Studio Brussels...

Intimate shows like Rotterdam '92 must be absolutely sweet
    but IMHO

-it does not matter which venue they play in...PJ rocks! (e.g. Gelredome)
-in Belgium it's said to be really hard to get tix to PJ! So I wouldn't take a risk for a club show...let them just play in a venue you can comfortably get tickets, eh?!!!
