just so ya'll are aware, impeachment doesn't matter to a sizable portion of the electorate.

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/12/03/politics/impeachment-polling-analysis/index.html
Good news is 50% are in favor. That number never rose about 29% for Clinton.
How is that good news?  The public doesn't vote on the impeachment.

Trump gets impeached but won't get voted out...  Still my prediction.
If 50% are in favor of him being impeached and being removed and he has a historically low approval rating to begin with...the odds of being reeelcted are quite small.

It hasn't even started yet and I'm already disappointed in these house R's.

    Divided States of America indeed.

idk. consider. McConnell had been blocking virtually all judicial appts under obama.   He has been very steady these past 3 years installing a conservative judiciary.
I wonder how many vacancies are left?

he's shrew as fuck. he may just cash his chips in and call it a day with the appointments he's pushed through.....

No I agree it is not as unrealistic as most people seem to think. Still, I wouldn't put the chances higher than about 25% for removal. What do you think the chances are?

Per the cnn article, healthcare is one of the top issues to voters. So the swing voter gets to combine impeachment with the fact that republicans have done essentially zero about healthcare when deciding who to vote for.
