Finally got my holy grail framed after sitting on it a year.

That appears to be the one I have so yes should be good.  Logan has a video on how to do a double mat properly.   Be sure you watch it a few times.  You should expect to burn a mat or two but don't sweat it.  If you're really going to hang,  you'll make your$ back 10x in no time.  Im to the point where I rotate prints in and out of mats throughout the year.  So many color schemes work for multiple prints.   My 3rd floor is like a museum.  

I have a question

I obtained everything I need.  I chewed up a mat learning how to do it, but I think I have it down now.  My first beveled cut was chewed, but the other 3 sides were perfect!

So I get the full mat sheets from hobby lobby that are like 32" x 40".  How do you cut them so they are perfectly rectangular, since they do not fit in the logan mat cutter?  

I start by taking the back of frame (the cardboard piece) and using that as the guide to cut the bottom mat.  It doesn't even have to be perfect because the frame's edges should provide some margin of error.  Once you have the mat at 22*28 or whatever the size, it should fit in the mat cutter for the beveling.  The 32*40 will fit for the first cutting with the straight knife if you do the short side first.

What I did was just sloppily freehand reduce the size, then using measuring, I made the mat 22" x 28" and cut on the logan.  Using the back of the frame as a guide is much better/easier.  

Cool.  Good luck.  You'll make some mistakes on the first job or two.  But after that, you'll find little tricks to reduce the mistakes.  Remember that the blades can be flipped, but I wouldn't do more than 2, 3 jobs at the most with a particular side of the blade.  It's very important that you cut the bevel cleanly, before you remove the board from the cutter.  Even go over the same area twice if necessary.  Once you remove teh mat, it will never go back perfectly if you find you the blade didn't cut all the way through.  That's frustrating. 

Just finished up this beauty yesterday, with another $7 thrift shop frame!  

The blue mat was leftover from a previous frame-up, and bigger than the print, so it forced me to get creative with the other mats..

I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!  The blue pinstripe is just thick enough to balance, but not so big it draws focus.  =D
