So the point of getting to the whistleblower (with whatever he/she reported being true - told by the President himself) is just a hail mary to find some straw to grasp at to focus on? Like finding out that person was a demcorat and something and movie to focus off the substance and go all in on it being a politically motivated hit job? or whatever else they might find out about that person - THE WHISTLE BLOWER WAS LATE IN TWO OCCASIONS OF PAYING CHILD ALIMONY! The point is simply to give the Trumpers a common enemy throughout the impeachment proceedings. Creating common enemies who are actors against the "cause" is the MOST important factor when growing fascism. Hitler knew it, Trump knows it.

Yes. It's just to confuse and distract. Supposedly the whistle blower is a democrat and there are pics of the person with prominent democrat politicians. It is to continue his "deep state" nonsense. 

But...unfortunately for them, the things the whistle blower blew about have turned out to be remarkably accurate. So its a moo point for rational people.
