    A buddy and I skipping grade 11 chemistry class to walk down to the mall to pick up our copies.   On the way we ran into another buddy who had purchased it and was on his way to school.  First thing out of his mouth was “ the song is called Animal not 5 against 1”.

    I think it's the best collection of songs on any of their albums.  It's not my favorite album, but I could single out any song on Vs. and listen to it over-and-over.
    I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

    Agree with others that the MTV performance of Animal & RITFW being my favourite live performance of all time by any band, ever.

    Then having to wait another 6 weeks to hear the album. 

    Great memories & an absolute classic album. Pearl Jam at their angriest and best.

    That’s a good way to describe it! And makes me wonder what makes a favorite album if it’s not simply the songs?! Kinda weird, isn’t it?!

    Happy bday to this monster - released the day before I was born. I've always felt a special kind of bond with this album because of that. One of my all time favs. With that being said, I've always felt that the curation of the track list was a little weird (for eg, Glorified G, while yes it is a banger, feels more like a b-side, same with WMA as it breaks up the flow of the album). But damn the first 5 tracks hit you hard...ripping it as we speak.

    This should be Diamond as well. Imagine if they had music videos for some of these songs. Looking at the Spotify play numbers it's not as high as you would think. So it might be awhile for it to even go 8x platinum

    Vs. was released exactly 12 years after I was born to the day.  If you can do the math, you can guess how old I am.  I love this record!
    I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
