    Again,  a specious argument.  The current special forces units in Syria is comprised of men and women in 20 and 30s. We were there when thrley joined the forces.  How the hell do you know why they joined? Your argument is predicated on a Vietnam mindset.  This isn't the guard or the reserve like Iraq.

    So America and ABC had a discussion and decided to go this route?  Fascinating conspiracy theory.  Did America instruct them to retract and apologize too?  Did the conversation between America and ABC take place in person or was it a phone call?

    THIS here is a prime example of today's reporting.  This wasn't the Channel Six News Team at 11 fucking up this bad ... this was prime time Sunday evening national news!  And on the biggest morning show the next day.  By one of the big 3!  If I was running ABC I would have asked for everyone in the production to hand in their resignation letters by 9 am the next morning and I would include my own for letting the ship drift this far ashore.
