Not a standard teen movie, but I loved Fright Night (the original).
Cheesy and campy, with semi-bad effects.

I’d put this in the horror genre as opposed to teen genre, but love the film. Classic.
probably but if we're going that route i'd add The Monster Squad and Lost Boys.
