It's in my hair, there's blood in the sink
    I can't calm down, I can't think
I keep calling, there's blood in the trunk
I can't calm down, I freak out, black out

I dreamed about killing you again last night
And it felt alright to me
Dying on the banks of Embarcadero skies
I sat and watched you bleed
Buried you alive in a fireworks display
    Raining down on me
You cold, hot blood ran away from me
    To the sea

dude I agree.  I want kicking television into spiders into casino queen then I want kicking television again.

I feel like a lot of their songs always come off --- whats the right word?  gentle?  then you listen to them, strip the lyrics down, see them live, and realize that's not the case.

wilco is one of my favorite bands but on first impression, I'm not loving their two singles (the hid and go seek counting is painful).  they should never make videos, not sure why they did.  that being said, I'm hitting 3 shows (radio city, dc, charlottesville) and I couldn't be more excited.

regardless, great to have them back and playing live gigs again.  It's coming down, they're coming up the shoulders........

Caught Radio City and Brooklyn last weekend and it was so good to hear live Wilco again.  Go see them.  Setlists are not as varied as I would hope, but they are so good live.

No sir but I look forward to seeing them in March in Vancouver. We took a chance in 2015 thanks to the comments from members on the boards here and loved it!

They are an acquired taste, but once you like them, you are hooked!

They are in my holy trilogy of best live bands......PJ, NIN & WIlco!

Youd be hard pressed to find another non jam band with more varied sets than Wilco. Maybe an unfortunate small sample size that has given you this impression.

I know I have seen the band quite a bit.  There were more repeats than usual. Check the setlists, less varied than in the past.

I looked at the Chicago setlists....I agree that they aren't as mixed as usual.

Yes, the Ode to Joy was by design not as varied as in other years. Certainly not as many deep cuts as in other years, but in general still some differences from night to night. And then they just did three nights in  Mexico without repeats.

I was at the Mexico event.......75 songs over 3 nights with no repeats.....incredible!

Yeah and the sequence was largely the same, I dont think I have ever seen them two nights in a row with the same opener as I did on this tour. Mexico must have been great. The setlists are crazy good!

    mexico was great.....each band member did a music-related workshop/solo show/DJ set in addition to Wilco's 3 performances.

I was surprised how the crowd skewed older, but then again, Wilco has been around for a long time so the fans are aging!

Good point....the all inclusive price was approx $1,700, so if you include flights ( we got ours with miles ), it could easily top $5K per couple
