    don't judge it based on the trailer. get nice and toasted and toss it in. preferably at the end of the night, after getting home from a club or a party, and you aren't quite ready for bed yet. light one up, press play, and sink into 1970. 

    my wife and I, before children, would literally do this every weekend, on rotation with The Big Lebowski, Old School, and D&C. 
    Yeah well, none of that is me. But fine, I’ll give it a try 😉
    it's still a great movie, even without the buzz. that's the era of my life it came out in for me.

    There was a few Cusack movies that were on the cusp but didn't see them as teen movies...

    That's what I liked most.  She doesn't express extreme emotion in either direction, but offers both praise and criticism of certain aspects of his writing & filmmaking.

    Of those listed, I would say Bueller but if there was an "other" button I would vote for "Pretty in Pink".  I always liked Molly Ringwald's movies a lot and Harry Dean Stanton was in it too so there you go.
