Pearl Jam had a shirt with this on it years ago but I have always wondered the true meaning and origin.  Was it something that Manowar started?

    Yes. According to Reddit, Manowar coined the term as a sort of call to arms I believe. As with everything with Manowar, heavy dose of irony too.
