What is Your Favorite 90's Western Film?

If you would like to make a more informed decision, here is a list from IMDb:
https://www.imdb.com/list/ls029017434/

I struggled with whether or not to make Wild, Wild, West one of the poll options, as opposed to a lesser known film with better ratings-such as, The Jack Bull. I have a feeling it doesn't really matter anyway.

Go bang a leg, Jimmy.

I looked at a few lists this morning and I swear I saw one that listed the film as a "Native-Themed Western". And if I never find that list again, I'll just take credit for creating that sub-genre.

    Tombstone kills.

    "Prettiest Man I ever saw."

"What do you think Billy Nilly?"

    "I think he's wonderful!"

I always crack up at that part.

You could have added Wyatt Earp on there too.  Quaid did a really good Doc Holiday impression in that one.

Been too long since I've seen Geronimo to properly rank it, but for entertainment factor I lean to Tombstone. Unforgiven is a higher quality movie though. I really could go either way. They are the only 2 of the bunch that I owned on DVD back in the 90's when it made sense to own physical copies of the movies you loved.  Would Maverick or Quigley Down Under count? I enjoyed them a lot too. Go back 1 year and Lonesome Dove would have been my pick out of all of them. It really was a great stretch there up until the mid-90's.

As far as the worst of the bunch, Wild Wild West is a terrible movie.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Nope. Hudson River Valley. Closer to the Berkshires than to Buffalo.

Setting of Mohicans aside, there are some great movies on that list.

Unforgiven, then Tombstone, then Quick and Dead.

Tombstone: Val Kilmer's Doc Holiday was one of the best screen performances ever to me, but Kurt Russel really didn't deliver that well as Earp.
Wyatt Earp:  Kevin Costner's Earp blew Kurt Russel out of the water, but Quaid's Doc was boring, and the film itself wasn't as entertaining.

Just imagine a world where Tombstone had Costner as Earp.  How fucking amazing would that movie be???

Honorable mention to comedy greats, City Slickers, Maverick, and Lightning Jack.

Shanghai Noon just missed the 90's (2000 release) but that was a fun film as well.

Better, but not as much fun.

I want somebody to deep fake the two movies into one.  Kostner as Earp, Kilmer as Holiday, Quaid as Johnny Ringo, and mustache guy (can't think of his damn name) as Virgil.

I am gobsmacked that there are people in the world who think that Kevin Costner (who couldn't play a corpse in The Big Chill) is better than Kurt Russell (Snake Plissken, for fuck's sake!!! SNAKE PLISSKEN!!!).

I'll just stand here and bleed.
