I must have missed that “logic”. I was under the impression that it is illegal to own firearms if you are a convicted felon or have a rap sheet full of drug offenses. Oh, wait, this shit-for-brains didn’t care.mrussel1 said:
To be fair, according to some of the logic here, so long as his past drug offenses didn't include a firearm, he's still a responsible gun owner. Personally, I would consider him a gun owner AND irresponsible.PJPOWER said:
How was he a responsible gun owner? Did you miss the part of the story about the past drug offenses?Gern Blansten said:Sounds like a responsible gun owner. I wonder if he got a price break on his ammo by buying in bulk.
You mentioned that you are a gun owner...are you “responsible”?

10,000 handgun bullets is a stockpile, period.
They weren't target rounds either, so quit trying to justify this insanity because it makes you uncomfortable that your hobby is so closely adjacent to disturbing behavior.
I've seen about 5 articles that specifically mention his quote advising people to "shoot all Federal officers on sight".
Again, don't defend this wacko just because it makes you uncomfortable to be in a boat similar to his, do the research instead of playing the "don't know, can't say" card.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0 -

I defend actions that I do/have done. I keep forgetting that everyone ins't like myself, "responsible".
The outrage is understandable as I tend to forget that others won't conduct themselves as I do.
We'll hopefully find a way to something amicable.
EDIT: I tried finding other articles with what the dude said/threatened and came up zilcho. Perhaps a day or so later more info has come out because initially it wasn't out there, just read the first two posted on here.Post edited by tempo_n_groove on0 -
Who are you talking to? I sure as hell am not “defending” this wacko. “A boat similar to his”? What a joke...If he made threats against federal agents, then he should definitely be investigated.rgambs said:10,000 handgun bullets is a stockpile, period.

That seems like a normal train of thought in a country that favors due process. How dare you believe someone is innocent until proven guilty!tempo_n_groove said:

I'm pretty sure Trump has a permit to carry; I don't like the guy but no reason to think he isn't a responsible gun owner.Halifax2TheMax said:
“Trust” and “innocence” are not the same thing. You’re comparing apples and oranges. Whoa, whoa, whoa, I just know that damn Hillary is guilty of something, dammit! Do you think Team Trump Treason is innocent? Do you trust him? Think he’d be a “responsible” gun owner?PJPOWER said:

That seems like a normal train of thought in a country that favors due process. How dare you believe someone is innocent until proven guilty!tempo_n_groove said:
