    Blunt, a Missouri Republican, suggested in a statement Thursday the funding wasn’t required and shouldn’t be included in the Senate version of the spending bill.

    “The reason our committee was so successful last year is that we made the decision early to not open the bill to controversial issues,” he said in that statement, citing the House and Senate’s effort to pass the fiscal 2019 Labor-HHS-Education spending bill on time. “I’m hopeful we do the same thing this year, which would mean we wouldn’t change things that have been traditionally in the bill or attempt to fund partisan priorities.”

    Blunt also said, “There has never been a prohibition on HHS doing whatever research they want to do in this area.”

It’s okay though because Wayne LaPeePupu recommends everyone drive an up armored Humvee. Don’t forget your kids bullet proof backpack when you take them to school and drive the back roads.

    Yea, I was commenting on the general pervasive number of guns and where they are, who has them and in general, you can’t even drive home from work without being victimized by a “responsible” gun owner. Add to that that bulletproof backpacks are being marketed as a solution to school shootings and you’ve got the greatest country on earth, ‘Murica. And if you look at the gun violence archive, Tejas has a lot of it. Yee haw.

    I could have gone to a conference in Houston but I turned it down. I’m not supporting that ass backward state that gives us the likes of ted crud.
