Is everyone coming back?


Yahoo league is renewed....I made a mistake and renewed as Keeper.
Before I kill that, what do people feel about making it a keeper league?

    I'm in.  As long as everyone comes back I'd be OK with keepers.  But if there are new people in not sure how we could do keepers...

    Ani likes keeper option and E asked about it in the past.
    Let me try to read up on options....I think it would be a good change up.

    Discussion started on league board re:Keepers.  Everyone who replied likes the idea, we do need to determine if everyone is back.

    why does everyone love “head to head” format?

    answer: playoffs


    but we can still do playoffs in a points league


    The reason I dislike “H2H vs points” is: a team can score X points in week 1 and get a loss, and another team can score less than X points in that same week and get a win depending on the randomness of who they play


    I do not get the “in a points league a team may struggle early and feel they can’t catch up” excuse

    “in a points league a team may struggle early and feel they can’t catch up"

    That stated if we want to split the money and pay 1 Playoff Victor XXX and 1 overall points Victor XX, I am down for that

    Could be figured out if we get there

    to explain points playoffs:

    Regular season: total points weeks 1-13

    top 6 point totals make playoffs seeded 1-6


    so week 14 would be “playoff week 1” with 2 byes given to top 2 seeds

    we just track points scored for that week for the 2 playoff games where the 3 seed plays the 6 seed for most points scored that week

    same for the 4seed vs 5 seed matchup

    and so on through week 16



    would like to try this if others feel the same way
