Happy Friday! This week's song title is "Wake Up." I just stumbled upon this last night and surprised to see how many times this title has been used. I'm including several examples, but please bring up others that are not listed!
Rage Against the Machine - Released in 1992 on their self-titled album
Mad Season - Released in 1995 on their album, "Above"
Arcade Fire - Released as a single in 2005 from their album, "Funeral"
Two Door Cinema Club - Released in 2012 on their album, "Beacon"
Coheed and Cambria - Released in 2005 on their album, "Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness"
Three Days Grace - Released in 2003 on their self-titled album
The Vamps - Released in 2015 on their album, "Wake Up"
Black Veil Brides - Released in 2018 on their album, "Vale"
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

Oh yeah, they definitely sample Kashmir in their version.rummy said:I always heard Led Zep's "Kashmir" at the start of the RATM song.

No worries! Thanks for bringing up the other versions. I honestly didn’t think about this title until late last night. I was really surprised by how many times this title has been used.eeriepadave said:

Rage Against the MachineWhile nothing is as good as the RATM original, I really like the Brass Against cover.
Can't replicate the anger in the music but she does a good job, imo.
