Collectionzz: NEW POSTER DATABASE
Some exciting news from one of our own at Collectionzz, Steven K.
This was shared via FB today, and will more than likely be of interest to you if you're in any way, shape, or form a poster collector. More updates to come, but it's available to try out right now.

From Steven:
SORRY FOR THE LONG POST!
One of the things I wanted to do most when I joined Collectionzz.com just over two years ago was to create our own poster database. It could've been out a year ago, but we didn't want to just slap it together. We wanted to design it right, have accurate information, use the best images, and most of all, make sure it WORKED. It's taken a team of several of us a long time to get to this point, but today is the "soft" launch of our concert and movie poster database.
We are not yet revealing all functionality, such as the "home page" for the catalogs, but we are opening up the database through our search bar. Simply search for the item you're looking for and select it from the thumbnail, or you can search something more general and you'll get search results. Our list of improvements/upgrades is long, even with what we released today, but I was personally hoping that this community could be our beta testers who could let me know of any issues they discover. Feel free to PM me with any issues, comments, or suggestions. Again - this is NOT the final product, not even a fraction of it.
Side Note: anyone who didn't add items to Collectionzz because they had to take a photo of it, well that's no more (if its part of the database). Just click "I Have This Item" and it will be added to your collection! However, if you want to sell the item, you'll be prompted to upload a real photo.

I don't know if it just my internet connection but the site has been slow as all hell the last couple of days (especially searching) and the "I have this item" button doesn't seem to work. I already spoke to Steven about adding better sort functionality (alphabetical or chronological would be a great start).0

Is it me, or are they just catching up to what expressobeans has been doing for a while?0

I don’t know, expresso beans works fine for me, setting up on collections was a pain so I quit
edit- went back and it took a good amount of time but I put my collection on there. Can’t figure out how to make a want list or browse things for sale thoughPost edited by RoleModelsinBlood31 onI'm like an opening band for your mom.0 -
You're dead on but this is great news because:KS80184 said:Is it me, or are they just catching up to what expressobeans has been doing for a while?
1) The more available data the better
2) The potential for this to be a superior version
EB is still solid, but progress is good for everyone.0 -
There are eBay poster sales that don’t just make it onto ebeans. Their data just seems much less up to date in the last year or two. I find that I need to check eBay completed sales just to make sure ebeans is accurate so lately I’ve just been skipping them altogether.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:I don’t know, expresso beans works fine for me, setting up on collections was a pain so I quit

This is just beta, and the want list is coming out next week. On the home page, the items listed with a price are for sale (usually a preview of 4 recent items listed). If you click “explore all items for sale”, that will take you to the sale page. You can also make an offer on an item that’s not for sale.on2legs said:

Had a few false starts, but once I got the hang of it, I got a good amount of my collection set up.
I never found EB user friendly, so I’m hoping Collectionzz is a better experience.
