I honestly don't think he has the vocal stamina to go any longer than that. He alluded to throat issues in the Supersonic movie.

He was good in Minneapolis last night, but the show was only an hour
On the fence about going tonight (Chicago). I love seeing Noel and Liam in the theaters when they sell out stadiums in the UK, but an hour is so short. Stubhub has tix for about $25.

Seeing Liam play with his solo band is like seeing Roger Daltrey playing solo.......both sing for great bands, but are nothing without their guitar players/songwriters.

He has also said his "problems" was (in part atleast) caused by in-ear-hearing, which he has skipped since then. Wouldn't put to much stock into that, but anyways.

60 min is really short for a show that isn't a festival gig.

    Did he have openers?

Yes opener was Warbly Jets.  They were on around 8, Liam was on about 9:05

I’m sorry, but Noel Gallagher was Oasis. The guy wrote all the songs, played all the songs, and sang on half of them. Liam just rode his coattails.

Great show tonight in Chicago. Liam's new album is great and played some of my favorite Oasis songs. Standard setlist and 60 minute set like he's been playing in the US.

His voice has deteriorated so much over the years that I can only listen to the studio albums now. Wouldn't ever pay to see him live again (I have done so many times). His latest album is a great tribute to Auto Tune.

Not a fan of his album being written for him by other people. Not rock enough for me having outside writers.

I've been away for a while but I was at his DC show...it was amazing. You are all entitled to your opinions but this man can still put on one hell of a show in my opinion. I talked to his guitarist after the show for a good long while about a lot of different things, he is a great guy (I am a big fan of Beady Eye and Kasabian as well and he was involved with both of them also). He gave me some interesting insight on what he thinks the future holds for the band and he thinks we will be hearing some BE songs live in the future again, and they have been trying them out.

All that aside I am still listening to the first solo album and loving it, I can't wait to hear the next one and I am early awaiting the release of Liam's film as well.

The NGHFB album still sounds like sh*te

    No it doesn't.

But, cool about the BE songs. That would be natural and some of them would work really well. Cool.

Seeing him in November, hoping some BE songs have been thrown into the setlist then.

    Indeed.
    I doubt we'll get a soundtrack, unfortunately.

Haha. Yeah. He bailed on his 2018 fall tour here for that new album... coming first in 2020. Haha. So two years late. Kept my ticket though.

    New single:

Sounds a bit like a Marilyn Manson Mechanical Animals era b-side.

Not sure that I love it after the first listen but do prefer it to Noel's most recent two songs.

New single. Dave Grohl's on it.

Liam Gallagher has tapped Dave Grohl for a moody new single, “Everything’s Electric.” The track was co-written by Grohl, who plays drums on the song, and produced by Greg Kurstin.

Surprised it's not Taylor Hawkins with how Liam has hailed his music.
