Just got this one framed. Got the frame from Frame It Easy (I highly recommend them...great people). There is an issue with the mat. They cut it the wrong size, so they are sending me a new one for free. In any case, I put it in there for now & will disassemble once the new mat arrives and will post an updated photo. I love the white metal frame & the olive green mat. And yeah, it's not perfectly centered because the wrong mat size kept throwing me off. Oh well! Ha! Big thanks to @densan !

Thank god for KISS opening my eyes, had not noticed the connection before:

Bump. We need more art!  Anyone with a framed pj/u2 Klausen post a pic, I need some ideas.  Thanks!

  • A very newbie question here: I managed to pick up a signed EV poster from a solo show and want to frame it. What's the best way to flatten posters after taking them out of the tube?

First...take it out of the tube and just let it 'relax' for a day or two. Once it's a looser roll you should put a piece of non-acid paper down on a flat service, lay the poster face down on that and then use a few small, non-sharp edge items in the corners and along the edges to weigh it down. Bean bags or something similar work great. Small bags of rice, beans, etc. And the sooner the better.

If it becomes too much of a hassle just sell it to me for a thousand something

@KICK7071 Nice!! It was a great show. I did see some people there wearing PJ hats there that looked like they might have gotten from the recent mystery box sale. Or that's what first came to my mind anyway.

@willbarclay I did indeed have a stickman hat on, not from the MB sale tho.

I have the combo at the framers and gonna hang them all up together.
I like it.  The BK might be my favorite poster on display in my home.  I have it with a tan sort of backing, it matches the hallway it is hung in.  Works well with the green.  Such an awesome poster -- I still stop and look at it, frequently, and it has been up for a good 5-6 years.

Please forgive the very bad lighting in my basement (not done with that part yet). I’ve had the Milwaukee and the 2016 Klausen Wrigley for some time. The MKE is being relocated to a jam space where my drums and my other amp are kept, but will be back at some point. The Klausen is also a door for a cabinet I built around my gas meter.

The 2018 Wrigley and Ohana just went up. Both came out great!

They'll be featured again soon in a “photos of my guitars” shoot - recently ordered some wall hangers that will go up right next to these. Quite a vibe we have now in my kids’ recroom (that doubles as a music cave ;)
