Got a sixer of this for Father's Day:
Anderson Valley makes my all-time favorite beer, Poleeko pale ale. Sadly, that beer is no longer anywhere to be found around me.
Oh well, I don't drink much anymore anyway. As it is, I need to dump out about 15-20 beers from a cookout I had last Labor Day to make room for this new six pack that will likely die a similar slow death in the back of my refrigerator.
It would be nice if my wife and kids knew me well enough to notice that I haven't drank a beer in our home in nearly a year.Post edited by dankind onI SAW PEARL JAM0 -

I watched 82-84 but I was too young then to really take it in and understand what I was actually watching. I knew the Cardinals played the Cubs so I rooted for the Royals. Cards had leads of 2-0 and 3-1 in the series, but the comeback Royals were 3-0 in elimination games (they also trailed the Blue Jays 2-0 & 3-1 in the ALCS and came back to win the last 3) and improved that to 6-0 after taking the last 3 again.A couple noteworthy things about that year. It was the last year that no DH was used in the AL stadium during the World Series (they used to alternate odd/even years; the DH would bat all 7 games in even years, pitchers batted all 7 games in odd years). It was also the first year of the LCS being expanded to 7 games. Had it been 5 games like the year before, It would have been Cardinals and Blue Jays in the World Series.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250

I struggle with throwing beers out. It's tough isn't it? Those are good ones too. I'd probably keep them.
Whenever I have people over, even though I always have good beer in the fridge and more good beer on tap; people inevitably bring their own and there's always a lot left over that just sits in that garage fridge forever. It's mostly crap beer that I wouldn't buy myself and just would never choose to drink over the other stuff that I have.
But then when I'm draining and tossing them out, I think back to how 22 year old Juggler would never think of getting rid of beers by any means other than pounding them himself. Getting old has it's perks but it also blows!www.myspace.com0 -
