    I'm liking this idea :) I wish I could listen to music at work :(

    I had a friend who was really into PJ Harvey at school but I don't think I ever listened to any but would like to ;)

    Did she play one of the Somerset House gigs last year? I don't know if I'm making that up or if I remember reading it somewhere :o :eek:

    Really enjoyed the gig I went to at Somerset House this year and will definately try and go to one next year :)
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    yes i think she did but i missed it :( and i missed her at the Eden project :eek: which would have been fab , oh well cant do it all !

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Weirdest addition to my cd collection this month ... did you have a car tape when you were a kid :confused: ... the one tape that was always in the car ... long journeys ... short journeys ... didn't matter ... well I bought on cd the one that was in our car constantly until I was about 6 or 7 and I hadn't heard since ... Carole King's Tapestry :D Scary thing was I still knew most of the words :o

    Most of my Dad's stuff is on vinyl I think these were tapes bought specifically to be 'car tapes' :D I can't remember my sister and I ever having control of the music in the car :o

    :eek: we had them cartrage things b4 tapes much bigger and it was either Melany, beatle thingy person/song or rod stewert !!!!!!

    Chime... I hate to say this but what your dad did sounds like what I did when I was young!!!! All vinyl except a few 'tapes' for on the go. Bought or we even managed to copy vinyl to tape!!!!! **goes to find rejuvenating cream**
