He broke his bat on that home run...he has some ridiculous power.  He hit one last week that went 462 feet and it looked like he barely swung...looks like a special player.

Kid's gonna do great things.  Here's hoping we can steal him back from you guys someday!

Look at the bright side: only 0.5 games back after this current streak of 2018 Cubs style baseball. 

I'm not quite gonna tickle my nuts just yet, but he did look great last night! 55 pitches in 4+ innings. 4K in a row, 11 outs in a row and 12 of first 13. Let's hope he can keep it up.  The important thing for him is to know that it's ok if next performance isn't as stellar, just get back to work and move on.  I think maybe what this team needs is a good rookie to bring some excitement.  Get that same hungry energy all the rookies & 2y guys had in 15/16.

Channeling his inner-Jeter off the mound.  I'm convinced at this point that Quintana is worse than Darvish.  At least we can count on Yu lately to eat some innings & leave with a manageable score, even if it's 6-5 every time.  Q just gets crushed every outing.  He f'd up by getting all 3 of his unhittable games for the year out of the way in the first two weeks of the season.

When Q struggles it's because of his accuracy.  It seems like the last 3 or so games he's been all over the place.  Then he has to come in to get strikes and he's completely destroyed.  
I'd still take Q over Darvish in a clutch game, but man, he's got to get it together!

Meh, Flowers is a prick.  He knows Wilson is 100x the catcher and player he is.  
I think he's responding so much because he knows he was in the wrong.  Wilson was talking to the ump when Flowers chimed in.  I also think Wilson was the pro in explaining the situation.  Made Flowers look even dumber than he already did.
