Gary Sanchez leads the AL in home runs, as a catcher and after missing 2 weeks. That is all.0

I just don't think he does well on any other team that isn't stacked.
Yanks spent a lot of time developing him, he was supposed to be the superstar, not Judge.0 -

Getting back to your favorite stat, exit velocity, but with as hard as he hits the ball, I think it plays anywhere.0

For every time he is on base he strikes out. A typical stat now a days.
It's ok to say that Sanchez isn't the monster everyone thought him to be. My opinion of him changed. I knew how long the Yanks have been working with him.
The game was pimping his exit velocity too. Made mention of it a few times. The new hot stat...0 -

I've been against it because I've only been thinking of the immediate effect it will have on the game, which is less action because of the HR-or-nothing approach by everyone in the league (sans Dee Gordon). But in the long run, it will force hitters change their approach to the game, perhaps bring us back in the direction of small ball. Base hits, base running, advancing runners i.e. more action. (Which apparently is the big issue with MLB, no action).Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250

Pay the players for small ball and they’ll play more small ball.

Looking at Trout and the numbers he puts up, it's such a shame that my beloved Halos can't build a team around him. It's just pitiful.
How bad would the Angels be without him? They stink already.0 -
12 years ago yesterday, Bonds was intentionally walked to open an inning (6th). hasn't happened since.
