    Of course, a 7 game series would be nice.  I think these playoffs need to end and the refs need to be in some kind of reffing clinic.  Now it's not entirely their fault, because players love to embellish possible penalty calls.

    I really liked what Rod Brind’amor said how there are too many refs on the ice. Have one in between the penalty boxes to see if anything is missed. He can be in contact with Toronto on goals and reviews. Have all goals reviewed like the NFL does with touchdowns. Maybe the trip and hand pass from the Sharks series wouldn’t have determined the game.

    I think they added the 2nd ref so there would be less missed calls...well, that's not working.  What you are suggesting is similar to what Cherry has said...the technology has advanced that they should be fitted with an earpiece that communicates with Toronto for things like that hand pass ... his theory is they could notify the ref of the hand pass without us even knowing ... not sure if it would work ... I do not want more video reviews ... but I absolutely do not want every missed penalty call reviewed.  Both refs were looking at the play, both decided not to call it.

    Game fucking 7!  Haven't had a Game 7 OT in the Final since 1954 (Wings beat Canadiens 2-1), I think we're due.

    I think there's a difference between giving a cheap shot and skating away, and bumping a guy to get under his skin.  The first is dirty, the second is normal hockey.
