New album finally up for pre-order. This should be something to look forward to but instead Im moaning here and in my head that its £50 for a 2LP. The sensible part of me is telling me just to wait and pick up the regular vinyl when I see it going cheap somewhere.

    I may wait to hear a few songs off of this one first.  In regard to recent-ish releases, I loved Indie Cindy, but did not love Head Carrier.  I would happily cut off at least a quarter of Head Carrier.  By the little bit that I have heard of this new one, it kind of sounds similar.  Proceeding with caution.

    New album is great, typical Pixies sound.
    Los Surfers Muertos stands out for me
