Hi friends, I greatly appreciated the tribute by Lance Mercer. There is great music by Shawn that is already available on Bandcamp (my favorite is the live at the Bristol folk club). It would be great to press a collection of this music on vinyl as a tribute to Shawn. If you think this would be great, please join this call and spread the message.

    I was fortunate to get to know Shawn a little over the past few years. He was very kind and generously donated vocal tracks for a song on my band's upcoming EP, releasing on May 24th. In addition to the EP release, we want to release a vinyl 7" single featuring the song with Shawn's background vocals on side A, and an alternate version of that track on side B, a whole new song using the extra vocal tracks he donated. We are not interested in making a profit, what we'd like to do instead is give any money raised to a charity in Shawn's memory, or if the family would like, donate the money to Shawn's son.

    Would folks be interested in buying a 7" like this?
