    sure, if his list was titled "people I will kill" followed by a list of names. But I believe the article just said it was a list of names (I think a spreadsheet of names actually), simply having a list of names I don't think would hold up as a hit list in court. I mean if thats all it takes I'll never carry around a list of names and addresses of people I'm mailing Christmas cards to.
    I'm not saying I agree with the outcome, but I could see how a DA could look at this and say terrorist charges wouldn't stick based on what I saw in the one article. Maybe there's more to it, and this is just my guess.

    It would hold up in court if intent can be proven.  I understand what you're getting at though, and I agree to an extent, but the absence of a title at the top doesn't totally dismiss it either.

    I don’t consider that dumb stuff. I don’t agree that we need to tailor gun control legislation to fit the Boy Scout camp plans, and children are still children, with the brain immaturity of children, regardless of training.
