Bob Seger's final concert of his career at DTE

I have Seattle/Tacoma tix.  Still waiting for the rescheduled date.  I'm starting to get a little concerned its going to go from postponed to canceled.  I doubt he wants to come all the way out here for one show after his home shows finale.

I am under the impression that his 6 DTE shows are the final of his career.  But you never know.  Those 6 DTE shows will be Epic.  I actually have a ticket for his last 2 DTE shows.

would love to see Beck and CTE on the same bill. saw CTE once opening for QOTSA before anyone knew who they were. the sound in the venue was terrible so couldn't even figure out what the songs were. Never seen Beck.

I saw Beck kind of recently for the first time, and was really impressed - it was actually better than I expected it to be. Also, I can't believe how that guy doesn't age. It's almost creepy, lol. I think those Scientologists might have actually discovered an honest to god way to slow the aging process, lol.

I've seen CTE as headliner once. It was a really good show. I've seen Beck twice, one on the Morning Phase Tour and the other on the Colors Tour. I actually preferred the Morning Phase Tour. The band line up for the Morning Phase tour was better. However the Colors show was still lots of fun, and showcased Beck as the frontman more so than the MPT. As I'm grooving to the show I do my best to forget Beck is a Scientologist.

Is Kevin James the "Special Guest" on Sandler's upcoming tour? I was thinking about getting tickets for his new tour, but the prices are pretty insane.

I saw Patton Oswalt last night - he killed it.

Oh man I hope not! I m seeing Kevin James the week before Sandler.  Sandler tickets were a heck of a lot cheaper in ac as compared to Holmdel. Paid $180 for two tickets in a small arena.

@derbydave how was Tyler Ramsey live? I just saw that he released a new album. I'm assuming he plays and sing?

    @LukinFan
    Hey Roger,
The show I saw was AWESOME!!
It was Tyler and Carl Broemel from My Morning Jacket performing together.
Tyler played the first song and then Carl was up next...
they alternated songs from their catalogs plus did a few covers.
Except for one song each, the guys played together for the whole show,
and supported each other when the other one was singing
    For the solo performances...
Tyler did his song 1000 Black Birds,
and Carl did an INCREDIBLE cover of Radiohead's Pyramid Song by himself.
Here's a couple of links to their setlists:

    To me...
Tyler's voice is kind of a nice cross between Uncle Neil & Tom Petty and he sounds really good.
He does have a band going out with him on the upcoming tour to support the new album...
so I'm sure it will be even better than the "solo" show I saw.
Definitely worth checking out if he's playing close to you!!
