One time many years ago I was supposed to teach some boy scouts how to shoot. So we were going to use bb guns to learn basic range safety. The very first thing I told them was if any of them pointed their BB guns (or any weapons) my direction, I'd march over there and punch them in the face without a word. They all got horrified looks in their eyes, and none of them pointed the BB guns anywhere but down range. What she did was totally unacceptable. Shame on the asshole who gave her that firearm without providing her any basic safety knowledge (although common sense might have also helped). Absolutely. What an idiot. Completely unacceptable to ever point a gun at anyone, even if you're 100% positive it's unloaded. That's like the first thing they teach you.jeffbr said:
