Poll--The Weakest Link: Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' Round 1

MedozKMedozK TennesseePosts: 7,222
We have crowned our 5th Champion and now will move onto another critically acclaimed album.
'Back In Black' Champion - Hells Bells
'Led Zeppelin IV' Champion - When the Levee Breaks
'Second Helping' Champion - The Needle and the Spoon
'Sports' Champion - The Heart Of Rock & Roll
'Slippery When Wet' Champion - Wanted Dead or Alive

We will play this time to determine the GREATEST song on the album 'Dark Side of the Moon' by Pink Floyd
For anyone new to the game:
You are going to pick the song that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 3 days I remove the three (3) songs with the most votes.
We will then move on to Round 2. - Remember you are voting to eliminate songs from contention.

Lets have fun with this. Remember debating and discussing why your right and others are wrong is always fun.

Leave it to you for the first crappy vote. The song is iconic. It’s not the best on this album, but it’s not the worst either.

Completely agree, this is still my favourite album ever, not a bad note to be heard, in my opinion, lol.

Should’ve gone with Speak To Me. Didn’t realize it was separated from Breathe. Any Colour and On The Run are amazing as a gear geek but as songs this type of thing usually fall to the bottom.

Can’t come up with a good reason to vote for any of the others yet. Perfect album.

Don’t you guys go and f**k this up. I can tell Scruffy is already fumbling a little bit.

Ticking away the moments that make up the dull day.

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking.

    Time is gawddamn awesome.

But so is this album. Stupid Medzok. Putting us through this. Just too much stress dammit.

    Speak To Me
I mean, Speak to Me is barely a song. It's mostly just a quick intro of noise. It's a really good lead in for the album as a whole, but can barely be classified as a song, so this seems like an easy first choice, like a default selection.

    Us And Them
I’ve never viewed “dark side” as a collection of individual songs, but as a complete work. This is album is in my top five most listened to albums ever. Listen to the whole thing on Thursday. There are no weak spots in this album. All the parts make it work.  My vote was more, or less, a closed-eye dartboard throw.
