Ok, I’ve been sitting this one out, but wanna help hash this out.

So I listened to both again, I didn’t wanna watch the videos while listening, I've already been to NJ.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that YGLABN was under 4 minutes long. Then, while listening to WDOA, I reached for my coffee and accidentally saw JBJ wearing a jersey/cowboy/bandana/headband thingy so YGLABN FTW!

So, your vote wasn't based on the actual song AND you voted before finishing your coffee?

I think your vote should be disqualified. ;)

They are both incredibly douchey songs, but "Wanted ..." is douchier. Anyone who writes a song that tries to make it sound like living the rock star life is some great burden can toss Donald Trump's salad. (Note: As in all such matters, AC/DC is given a pass.)

"A cowboy on a steel horse I ride?" "A loaded six string on my back?"

    Give me a fucking break.

They are both incredibly douchey songs, but I prefer douchey about the rock star life vs. douchey about love.

If you're going to be shitty about love, go all out and write a song like "Used to Love Her" or "Hair of the Dog".

I've been mostly absent from this album exercise as I'm not a Bon Jovi fan in the slightest. Some of my more musically challenged friends liked to take bands like Zeppelin or the Stones off and put this stuff on. This was tantamount to dating Jennifer Aniston for a few years... breaking up... and then beginning to date Rosie Odonnell.

But this post reminded me of how I used to mock this song to my stupid friends... singing it at random times with a real pained expression... imploring the gods above to acknowledge me as "wanted... WANTED... dead ooooor aliiiiiiiiive".

    Hahahahahahahaha

    It's getting my vote.

Both great songs, but Wanted is the clear winner for me.  Best song on the album and regardless of outcome, glad to see it in the final!

This  cassette was a permanent fixture in the tape deck of my Celica for at least a year.

I missed the first two rounds of this AMAZING album.

Wild In The Streets is the best song followed by I'd Die For You but now that it's down to these two....

Wanted Dead or Alive acoustic > Wanted Dead or Alive full band > You Give Love A Bad Name.

Jersey girl - I know the right answer.

I agree with this 100%. Loved this album and the non single tracks were my favourites, but Wanted acoustic is GREAT

Remember seeing this and it gave me goosebumps - acoustic rock songs were not the thing, until this and MTV Unplugged was launched soon after.....

I think it would be a better finalist than Bad Name.

I guess it is more of a polarizing song (due to all that karaoke) that some dislike more than the other two.

I saw an awesome burlesque routine to "Livin' on a Prayer" once. It almost made me like the song for however long those tassels were spinning.
