    Livin' On A Prayer
This album was huge everywhere in 86!! I remember in school in Australia, heaps of kids walking around with the cassette. I wasn't initially into it, I thought it was all a but much, as I wasn't a huge fan of Livin on a Prayer or You give Love a Bad name, but once I heard Wanted, I was hooked. When they played that acoustically at the Grammy's (I think or maybe AMA's) it was brilliant, and as someone else (Poncier?) mentioned, it started the Unplugged phenomenon.
I was big into them through this album and New Jersey and somewhat Keep the Faith, but then Soundgarden/PJ Nirvana and  metal took over (Metallica/Sepultura/Slayer/Pantera/Anthrax etc).

I think this is their best album, but I actually really like the non single songs on this. I haven't listened to any of their stuff for at least 10 years, apart from hearing a song when out somewhere, but I still admit to loving these albums in their time.

I am really surprised that people haven't heard at least one of their songs before....they were everywhere for at least 5 years in the mid to late 80's
I'll ride the wave where it takes me

I just listened to the entire album and it's all coming back to me now. There are some fun songs on that album! My oldest (by 6 years) sister Stacie introduced me to some amazing music and also tortured me with music as well. Not saying Bon Jovi was torture but the way she overplayed it and worshiped Jon Bon was just sooo much. She also always switched the tv channel from Heathcliff to General Hospital. Grrrr :anguished:

This album is a classic of 6th grade!  Definitely front-loaded with all the hits.
I recall fondly the memory of slow dancing at a Middle School mixer to "Never Say Goodbye". I too was front-loaded.
Hilarious!  This is the album that sent me straight to punk rock for a few years.  I despised it, jordache jeans, Guess and everything is stood for.  I was a music snob.  But your line is a riot and so true!

So the music sucked, but for many, it was the soundtrack to some clumsy baserunning.

My first "ass grabbing" dance was to Careless Whisper...

The first time you danced with a girl and put your hand on her butt was listening to Ole by PJ?  If so, I don't know whether to be jealous that you're so young, or mortified that you went this long without touching a butt.  Or saddened that you listened to Ole.

Couldn’t find Adriana La Cerva dancing to “You Give Love a Bad Name. Guess we’ll have to settle for Jeremy Fry. The asshole that kicks him away at 1:00 and pushes him at 1:45  ...
