Might the new eV instrumentals for Mt Kennedy be not just a song or two but a WHOLE soundtrack, similar to Into the Wild, and be what his slowly-releasing European tour is built around? :lightbulb: :pensive:
Maybe. Wish they would release a song or two from the soundtrack already. Or yet a vinyl / CD pre order.

In 1965 Jim Whittaker led Senator Robert Kennedy to the first ascent of a remote mountain in the Yukon named after the late president, JFK. Fifty years later, the sons of the original climbing team - a raucous band manager, a candidate for governor, and a young mountaineer - embark on an expedition to the mountain to celebrate the special bond that connects them all. Featuring unreleased instrumentals by Eddie Vedder and never before seen footage and photos of Robert Kennedy, the feature-length documentary sits at the intersection of politics, human rights, environmentalism, and adventure.

Following the show, Bruce Pavitt, the co-founder of the Sub Pop record label who appears in this film, will be taking the stage with film subjects Bobby Whittaker and Leif Whittaker for a Q&A. With another EV Euro Tour again so soon I hope he plays some tunes off the soundtrack. If not play those instrumental tunes when he stops by Canada later this summer. *wishful thinking ...

Big Sky Documentary Film Festival: Eric Becker - Return to Mount Kennedy

Emmy Award winning documentary filmmaker Eric Becker stopped by the Morning Trail for a ten minute interview that both of us hijacked at various times to cover everything from this evening's showing of Return To Mount Kennedy (Wednesday 6 p.m. at MCT) to Eddie Vedder's involvement to Eric's claim he can't complete a single pull-up. A raucous good time.
