Stones and DMB would be cool. On to the next speculative PJ date...

Wouldn’t Voodoo Fest make more sense with the dates being in October and around a fall tour??

Yessir! What more does a PJ concert hungry fan need?!?!

It felt fun to stay in tune with the lineup announcement if only with a glimmer of hope.

Face it, this band is in cruise control...

20-25 shows a year, maybe... heafline a few festivals... sell massive amounts of merch at those shows and online to offest playing less shows...

Repeat, recycyle, repeat... release an album every 5-8 years to add a song or two to the rotation

I'm concerned the creative phase of this band is fully behind us now. Hope i'm wrong, but it doesnt look like it

@pearljam just tweeted a trivia question about Lollapalooza.  Ugh, I hope that isn't a hint.

That would suck. I really want nothing to do with Lolla but if they play it might force my hand just based on proximity.

Yeah, agreed on all counts. I'm also still hurt about the Vic show and still haven't been able to listen to it. Don't want to go through that again.

It may also have to do with Perry Farrell being added to the CC show.  Given the relationship and the amount of time since they last played Lolla in the US though, that would make sense.

Looking at the lineup, it includes, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys and Parquet Courts, all bands PJ have played with before.

I only turned on my twitter notifications for pearl jam recently, but have noticed they've been tweeting very regularly over the past week or two. is this normal?

No. They've definitely been posting more on Twitter and Instagram the last 2 weeks.

They have been posting daily for months now on all social media platforms, even Google +. Though they post more stuff on Twitter each day then the other sites.

many bands ramp up their social media presence when an announcement of some kind is imminent, some disappear completely prior to. you might be right, but it's fun to contemplate.
