hey all, got this e-mail through this morning, have e-mailed Tenclub for confirmation but wanted to know if anyone else had received the same thing.

Dear tickets.de customers,

The Pearl Jam show on 21.06.2007 in Duesseldorf is displaced from the LTU Arena to the ISS Dome!

Tickets keep their validity.

The advantage of the ISS Dome is that all places - whether seating or standing - are very close to the stage and that therewith excellent
view is guaranteed to you. However the ISS Dome only disposes of an restricted number of standing rooms in the pitch. Therefore we propose
you to exchange your tickets for standing inside the pitch against standing tickets or seating tickets in the lower tier from today until 13.05.2007 at the latest.
Both categories in the lower tier are considerably nearer to the stage - compared to the LTU Arena. With the attached drawing of the building you can see which
seating or standing tickets are at your disposal. If you decide to exchange your ticket, you'll obtain a new online-ticket from us and your former ticket for the pitch
will be locked. In that case please send us an e-mail to: hartmann@tickets.de

Address of the new location:

ISS Dome
Theodorstraße 281
40472 Duesseldorf

Please find a location plan at:
http://www.iss-dome.de/de/service/anfahrt.htm

Doors open at 17:30, on stage at 20:00

Support-acts are: The Futureheads and Interpol

Enjoy the concert!

Yep, I've had the same e-mail notification.

I'll be keeping my standing ticket though - it's years since I got really hot & sweaty at a gig.

I guess the new venue is in-doors as opposed to the out-door LTU Arena?

Anyone know why the change of venue?

The new venue is an indoor arena with a capacity of 13000. The reason for the venue change is obviously the poor ticket sale.

I am a little confused about this, if I have a standing pitch ticket will I still be in the main standing area?

Yeah i'm a bit confused. 10c ticket holders don't have to worry, right? I assume we get to stand on the pitch no matter what.

that's what I'd assume too..and that we keep our 15mn early entry...would be nice to hear it from 10c though.

Obviously a stadium was over-ambitious (good, they stink).

I hope the on stage 20.00 is Pearl Jam..overwise their set would be VERY short (curfew or not, the public trasport is not likely to run much behind 12)

and by the look of it it's right next door to the LTU, so no worries for those who booked accomodation nearby.
Fine by me. Seems like it's the same distance from our hostel anyway.

I'm looking everywhere and can't find decent info on the venue. It's near to the LTU Arena then?

Not too far from it really, as far as I can see.

In my oppinion you have to confirm when you have regular tickets if you want to keep standing tickets or change them into seats

(I did anyway to be sure)

It's in Rath, as far out from Dusseldorf Altstadt as the LTU Arena is.

hmmmmm....interesting. i would think a 10C email should be forthcoming with this info? doesn't make much difference to me one way or another.....still seeing pearl jam live in dusseldorf, works for me. :) but yea, to *officially* have the info and all, always nice. and yes, verify 10C members 15 minute early entry too is good.
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

The roof of the LTU-Arena would have been closed for the concert anyway.

The new venue is way better than the LTU-Arena. It has a good size and will be sold out, so the atmosphere should be better than in an arena more than half empty. I think it's a great decision!

    What this guy said!

Anyone know how far the Furstenhof hotel is from the new venue and/or airport? Cheers!

True, but there's a subway connecting the Altstadt and the LTU Arena, for the ISS Dome you have to take a commuter train from the main station, the connection is not as good as the ISS Dome is really new (opened last August or September).

But I think it's the better choice than the LTU Arena which is way too big.

As for the standing/seating problem. The problem is that they've already sold more pitch tickets than they have standing room in the Dome, so it will be a first come-first serve for the floor, if it's full it will be closed. People coming after this have to take a place in the stands, either a seat (all seats will be first come - first serve) or a standing place (I think they will use the standing room they use for the hockey games, so it's the lower level on one side).
The agency offered to change tickets, but only from standing to seating, you don't have to confirm a standing ticket if you want to stand, you just have to be there early.

I agree! That's the gist i got from the message as well....

Although I can foresee this becoming a BIG screw-up on the day of the show... ugh!! :(

If this is the case I will not be happy, I paid good money for my standing tickets and don't see why I should be left with a crappy seating ticket just because I don't want to spend a full day stood in a que
