So let me get this straight:  A retired NASA engineer goes glam as a way to seek revenge on the people who post on The Porch.  Would that ex-NASA engineering be.... YOU!?

Reminds me of a guy I worked with in the mid 70's who hooked up his car's hood locks to his 12 volt battery just in case anyone tried to steal something from under the hood (especially the 4 barrel Holley carb).

Fuck these porch pirate pussies.  I do not usually laugh at human suffering, but when I see one of these assholes break a leg in their attempt to steal or get their eyes glazed over by glitter (hopefully resulting in blindness), I make an exception.

In Sweden you get a note in your mailbox and you go to your nearest supermarket or whatever and get your package.

Why have the mailman just drop of packages like that... it doesn't make sense...

I would say with the number of parcels getting delivered on a daily basis, it likely a very small amount of parcels being stolen. Generally, it's up to the company to request a signature...

You do have the option to do that if you would like.  There are actually a ton of different delivery options and options vary with carriers (UPS, DHL,  Fed ex, USPS, etc).  If I know I’ll be home, I will have things shipped directly to my home and also usually have the option to deliver during a time window (again, varies with carrier).  Otherwise, I will normally request that the carrier hold it for pickup.  I like having options...

I always assumed it was pathetic tooth rotting methheads and so forth doing this.  I was surprised at some of the people that were “busted” with the cameras in the box.  Kleptomaniac lowlifes have no demographic boundaries, I suppose?

I saw this on facebook and the predominant comment was "they should have used ink" (or anything that would stain or whatever).  I think the glitter is perfect.  It's going to annoy them for a long, long time.  I love this.

Good reason to have a P.O. Box or other mail service.

In Hong Kong and Taiwan you get a note to pick it up at the post office.
