    I feel the Washington Wizards should get a do-over in the name department.  Toronto fell victim of getting a franchise at the same time Jurassic Park hit the theaters, but at least it's a kinda cool name.  Wizards feels like a name that was voted to approval by 5th graders.

    A missed entertainment opportunity appears to have been amended.

    The NBA and the Players Association agreed Wednesday to televise the All-Star draft during which time the captains will select their squads for this season's game in Charlotte, N.C., sources told the New York Times' Marc Stein.

    The league went to a fantasy draft-style All-Star format for the first time last season. Yet unlike similar drafts in the NFL and NHL, the NBA chose not to televise the event. Many fans and players found the decision questionable, given the sheer entertainment value it could provide.

    LeBron James and Stephen Curry were captains last season. That can't be repeated this season with James joining the Los Angeles Lakers, as captains are the leading vote-getter in the East and West.

    Captains will select their teams based on the remaining nine players voted in by peers, fans, and media, plus 14 selected by coaches.

    Lakers win.  Chandler w the defense...
    Butler played well.  D Rose keeps scoring, WTF?!?

    76ers didn't roll over the Pacers but did win.  Olidipo went off.  I really hope that guy gets a team.

    Anybody else see D'arron Fox playing good this year?  He was my pick from the draft to really become something.  Let's see, it's early in the season yet. 20 more last night but some TO's.

    Kawhi Leonard in Toronto.  Is he playing D out that way?
