Like many things I read I get an “aha” moment or a “wtf” moment.

    you know, people gripe all the time about "oh, who cares, they're fucking overpaid wealthy people whining about their jobs" but these are real people with real emotions. this was long overdue. especially as an advocate for women.

    So a woman takes the part of a porn star but it is the fake weiner that bothers her?  Did she not read the script prior?  Does she not know what a porn star does and that she would probably have to act the part?  Is she being forced to do the job she auditioned for?  Is she forced to stay?

    How do you think any of those questions are even relevant to the vast majority of HBO actors, if any at all? I think you don't understand the purpose of this fully.

    Pretty simple.  What if the actress wanted to do it? Isn't that more empowering than telling her she can't?  Does she not know what she wants?

    My feeling is that this is being driven by HBO's legal department more than anything.  I don't blame them.  Sorta like when you see a Kia commercial where the car is bouncing across the moon and they still put the "do not attempt. professional drivers on a closed course" disclaimer on the bottom of the screen.

    It seems almost like a bizarro alternate reality that Roman Polanski was getting awards and the toast of the town not that long ago.  There are so many skeletons in the closets of Hollywood that the skeletons have skeletons in the closets.

    I'd say for most women, they dont know how they will react until they are in that situation.

    further, how many of those scenes are intregal to the story? Necessary to move it forward?

    I'd wager more than half are gratuitous and done simply to sell tickets.

    Singer Chris Brown has a line that I love, it goes "You've got skeletons in your closet? I've got aliens in my basement!"  So whenever someone brings up more that skeletons I think of aliens, lol.
