Great news and as I posted a while back my thinking is for them to also be playing at download festival based on the organisors info and survey about headliners, the Irish date will tie in with that. Bring it on.

  • I wonder if they would tailor their set accordingly if they played at Glastonbury. Given its sold out, and people haven't bought based on Pearl Jam i doubt the masses would be up for much past the hits.

Malahide then up to Belfast would be ideal.

Just to add some strength to the glastonbury rumours, it looks as though Bradley Cooper is going to be announced for it which would tie in for Ed to play as well.

This happens just about every year.
A rumor, or rumors, of shows start flying around the net.
    People get excited.
    Dimi shoots them down.
Someone gets their hackles up and challenges him about  what he knows and how he knows it.
    Dimi is eventually proved correct.
    Repeat

This is true. Dimi knows his stuff when it comes to what's booked and what's not, and I've seen him get it spot on more times than I can count over more years and tours than I can count.

That said, I've also heard from two different people this morning with contacts in Fingal County Council who have said this is very much on the cards for June.

We'll have to wait & see...
