"WHY?" - First ever UK Fanzine

Any of you guys remember this?
Many years ago, around ‘92/‘93, a young Karen Sutton decided she was gonna produce a fanzine dedicated to her favourite band “Pearl Jam”. This became the first UK, if not Worldwide, fanzine dedicated to the band. She poured her heart, soul, enthusiasm and love for their music into it. It’s how we met actually, but that’s another story.
100’s of PJ fans Worldwide loved it, but it became a bit overwhelming and all consuming so she, sadly, brought it to an end after only 10 issues.
We thought they were gone forever as the computer files for them had long since gone.
WELL, imagine our surprise when I found a padded envelope in the loft containing ALL 10 issues and even a few spares. Ecstatic doesn’t even begin to describe it.
So here they are, all 10 issues of the first ever Pearl Jam fanzine “WHY?” Produced by a very young and talented Karen Sutton.

That's awesome!I've been a HUGE fan of the Tickle My Nausea publications for years. I even got ahold of Jessica to try and get missing issues but never heard back from her
I would definitely be interested in those WHY? in any format.0 -
