Are they still around? I remember Crazy Game of Poker and going to concerts of theirs in high school. I always considered them a poor man's Dispatch, ha!

But sorry, no help on albums or anything. Just that one song.

They are so much fun live, so I agree checking out live albums. They're big PJ fans, too, and have covered a couple songs I believe.

I really like their album In Between Now and Then, I think that one is my favorite. Their first, The Wanderer, is great as well.

Always a fun listen! Hoping to see them live later this month in NY. They're doing a 'you pick the set tour' which is pretty damn awesome.

Saw them open for DMB they were pretty good, I think Robert Randolph and the family band were there, they were really good. Is it true OAR got their start being noticed playing in the parking lot of a DMB show? I know they love PJ too.

OAR played fraternity parties at Ohio State when I was there. They had a massive following around campus. Their first cd was nearly impossible to get your hands on. They got noticed while at Ohio State. Shortly after college they went on the Sprite liquid tour and blew up after that.

I saw OAR this past Saturday. Great show. They even played "Small Town" and gave a shout out to PJ saying they were their favorite band.

That was the Tampa show, right? I went Wednesday in Jax and it was great. They are so fun. They play at the amphitheater in St. Augustine when they do summer tours usually, and it's a blast!

I just 'found' O.A.R. about 6 months ago from a Spotify recommendation  I love them.

Marc Roberge's voice is a great draw. And the addition of the horns (Jerry DePizzo who they met at Ohio State and touring horn sections, expecially John Lampley add a lot of energy. I like listening to them live more than studio ( Live at Red Rocks, Live From Madison Square Garden, Rain or Shine (a personal favorite) ). XX - their newest full album (2016) has a great mix of new songs and their 'best hits' - half of the album is live, some acoustic versions of their hits. )

I know this thread is 2 years old, but I just found them and I am kinda obsessed with them right now. They just played Central Park and I'm hoping to see them in Montclair, NJ and Atlantic City in December. Wish I found them earlier - but at least I found them.

They released  the song 'Just Like Paradise' about a month or so ago and 'I Miss You All The Time' on October 12. Peace and I Go Through are two new songs (the ones that Spotify recommended based on other bands I like). War Song - a tribute to veterans is a great song and video.

    Some of my favorites -

And here's Robert Randolph playing 'Fool in The Rain' ( Zeppelin cover) with them

Thanks for indulging my new obsession.  =)
