This would be awesome with Fenway footage if its Yankees vs. Red Sox.

Funny!  Reminds me of how Walter Cronkite was often spotted at Grateful Dead shows.  You never know who's a fan!

Buck doesn’t suck. And I’m an Eagles fan.(all of philly area doesn’t like him) He’s very good. I think he’s disliked because he’s dry. And tries hard to a fault to stay in the middle.  (I did change my tune in Buck when I found out he was. PJ fan) It’s easy to pick these guys apart but I love sports as well as music. I’d love to do what he does for a living.

Listen to some of the other circus acts that call games these days and then tell me Buck is horrible. ( See the new MNF crew.)

ONLY good thing about Joe Buck is he's a Pearl Jam fan.

He comes across like his shit doesn't stink, and he's annoying(especially for baseball). I mute most of his games or listen to music while watching the game.

I like him even though he roots openly for my two most hated rivals (Cardinals and Packers).

  • I may be way off, but I used to work in television and these types of promos aren’t run for free. My guess is the new album is much closer than we all anticipate and this will be used as promotion for the upcoming album we have all been waiting for.

I really like Buck and always enjoyed him and McCarver together when no one else seemed to. Just felt like the playoffs when you heard them. I think a lot of people are used to their home announcers who outwardly root for their team.

Totally agree with you on other broadcast teams - I have the MLB package and there are some doozies.
