This is gonna be unpopular here but.......... I have listened to Seattle N1 and N2 and prefer N1 as a boot.
    I tend to agree

I have only listened to it once, but Ed was struggling to hit some notes on N2.  especially early on Oceans and Nothingman.

Breakerfall on the Wrigley boot is rough. Missing guitar parts, which completely makes that song so great.
I remember thinking this while at the show. It was a rough version that's for sure, anxious to relive it on the boot. One of the nights DTE was choppy as well, lyrically if I remember correctly

  • Did Safari 12 kill the Nugster app?  Doesn't seem to work since I've updated Safari.  No more support for Java.  Hope PJ/nugs has a workaround planned.

wrigley 1 missing the guitar riff here and there, interested to hear the boot

I just got my first listen.  Wrigley 1.
Breakerfall through Getaway are pretty rough. It almost sounds like a combination of technical problems and just not playing those songs much.  Ed actually sounds like he's behind the band, tempo-wise, like his earpiece is delayed or something. Especially Hail Hail and Animal.
Interesting show, nonetheless. Things get better as it goes along.  I'd take either Seattle show over Wrigley 1.
    11-2-2000 Portland. 12-8-2002 Seattle. 4-18-2003 Nashville. 5-30-2003 Vancouver. 10-25-2003 Bridge School. 9-2-2005 Vancouver.
    7-6-2006 Las Vegas. 7-20-2006 Portland. 7-22-2006 Gorge. 9-21-2009 Seattle. 9-22-2009 Seattle. 9-26-2009 Ridgefield. 9-25-2011 Vancouver.
    11-29-2013 Portland. 10-16-2014 Detroit. 8-8-2018 Seattle. 8-10-2018 Seattle. 8-13-2018 Missoula.  5-10-2024 Portland.  5-30-2024 Seattle.

He definitely recovers and salvages the song with some improv at the end.

They do recover a bit, but it just doesn't sound like Breakerfall much. Oh well. Just really love that song live so I was hoping for a killer version.

Agree on the first 2. Getaway has just never translated well live. I actually thought this version started strong, but couldn't keep it going. As for Hail, Hail and Animal, I thought they sounded good, but then again I was distracted and was paying complete attention while they were on, but I do recall thinking they musically sounded solid.

wow. I thought the same thing. Hail, Hail sounds weird like the vocal is a little out of sync with the music. strange. don't remember that at the show. Wash is about as perfect as it gets though. and Stone's guitar tone on "Lowlight" is excellent compared to the "tinny" sound on Seattle N1.

It seems they all state "Track listings may vary from the original set". Has anyone noticed any missing songs from the live show to the recordings?

Not these shows. Occasionally in the past, and very rarely, there has been tech problems or recording problems that prevented a song from being included.

I'm still waiting for my Seattle 2 and Missoula to ship.  Ordered on 9/18 and still says "warehouse".  So, I'm guessing it's going to take a while....
