Save this image and print on your home computer. Or save to a thumb drive, take to any print center (FedEx, Office Max, Office Depot), pick your paper or bring your own paper (it'd be cheaper), request a color print. Shouldn't be more than a few bucks for one page.
BTW - GREAT job on these ticket @jamofpearls.
Thanks!  You can download and fill in your seats at links on page 1 or 2 of this thread.

    1) The fact that "Ticketmaster" is printed on these "commemorative" tickets tells me that there is some sort of contractual obligation to use their service (or printing service).  PJ and Tenclub is not likely to willfully have "Ticketmaster" on these unless they have to.

    2) The original poster provided free, awesome looking, fan friendly looking tickets that I'd call much more "commemorative" than the Ticketmaster option.  Use this option and stop complaining.
Could also be that this is the simplest solution they could pull together quickly. Seems like a larger undertaking to contract with a company to produce them, approve designs, etc.
Yeah, I'm not sure.  Ticketmaster seems like just the moneygrabbing type organization that would legally not allow for tickets to be printed, even after the event is over, for an event that they had the ticketing contract for.  I'm willing to bet that this 3rd party company that's actually printing these commemorative tickets is a Ticketmaster subsidiary and that it's a legal obligation to use them.
    I don't really blame 10Club for this.  It's business AND it's Ticketbastard.
Looks like "TicketsToday" also handles DMB and Phish ticketing.  Partners include LiveNation/Ticketmaster.  So they probably could have done some custom tickets, but thats probably a colossal pain and super time consuming (and would likely drive the price way past $2, which would cause more complaining).  If they had provided paper tix for the tour, they would be generic, so thats what this is.  And the cost is pretty similar.  I know everyone wanted a really cool looking commemorative ticket... maybe next time, I guess???  As an aside, it will be interesting to see if they use the same generic ticketmaster paper for all of the events, or if it will vary based on venue (Fenway and Wrigley have their own unique tickets, not sure on Missoula).

Might be a dumb question, but would it help if you could have your tickets mailed to someone in the States, and then have that person mail them to you? (I have NO clue what it would cost so maybe it would still cost too much anyway?)
A first class letter to Canada is $0.85. Unless these things are made out of lead, you should be able to drop them in an envelope and get them up there for that.

Edit: And other international mail is $1.15.
Okay, i didn't think it would be much, but that is not much money at all.

I'd be willing to help some out if they want it. No problem dropping a couple of tickets in a few envelopes and mailing them out. Up to a certain point $$$$$

Exactly. Talk about a money grab
Not really a money grab if there shipping them overnight. Just a bad shipping choice. It’s not like there just sending them out with a stamp on them your paying for the shipping choice there using.
Really, overnight shipping to Canada on an envelope is $21. Maybe $10.

This is from the USPS site. To Canada you don’t have many options it’s either $1.15 or flat rate.

Flat rate is a specific product.  You can still take something to the post office, they'll weight it and charge you accordingly.  I get stuff from the US all the time that falls between lettermail and flat rate stuff.

If they're sending it to the US for 1.50 they must be sending it via lettermail.  Why not to do the same for Canada?  I'm thinking of having it shipped to my reshipping website to save money on the shipping.

The cost to ship to Canada is outrageous. Looks like Ticketmaster is getting back at Canadians for the piece CBC did on them for being douches and double dipping on their service fees and hiring professional scalpers to resell tickets.

Looks like there's also a class action lawsuit in the works as well.

  • ZodZod Posts: 10,071
I order them and send them to my reshipping.  The only thing I'm concerned about is we both used our different memberships on different nights.  I used my wife's code for night 1, and her email, but charged it to me (with my US address).   Did the same for mine for night 2.  Hopefully the code is what makes them know what seat #'s to print on them.
  • So here's my initial setup for Seattle night one.
Let me know if you all like it, or if it should look different.  If OK, I'll churn out the rest.

  • Is there a downloadable Seattle?

That's all great but when you follow the link it's not TM selling the ticket stubs, it's a company called ticketstoday.

TM has it's faults but they only charge me $3.50 to mail hard tickets.  Doesn't matter if it's for an event in Seattle or Vancouver, that's what they add to my order to mail out hard copies.  Which funny enough, is it exactly what this costs for Americans.   I have no idea with ticketstoday is charging $21 to mail something that can be mailed by lettermail.
