You're not kidding! I asked the guy at the front of my line what time he got here, and he offered me his spot for $1,000 and said he's doing this again tomorrow...

For the record though, everyone around me in line seem to only be buying for selves and friends who can't make it, and only doing this once. I can't imagine doing this multiple times for 1 show!

Wtf....unreal, this is getting out of control! Fortunately for me, my wife and 1 year old are sleeping in at a hotel across the street. They will just be waking up by the time I’m back, so all good. But to ask a wife/husband/partner to wait in line with you for 2+ hours is a big ask, even if your partner is a massive PJ fan line mine is. And the alternative is what? Pay a boatload extra on eBay? Pay some random for his “spot”? I like the idea of presales to 10c members w/tickets, one item per.

Plus some of these people are completely lost since they can't line up for GA.  They must line up for something.

The same for me yesterday. Looked like most people were just getting one of each or just a particular poster. Everyone in line seemed excited about the witch especially after seeing it in person with people coming out of the merch shop.
  • I’m very proud of myself as a poster collector for allowing myself to let go and enjoy a weekend in Boston with my wife and just hope I can grab artist copies and 10C copies online later. Any other year I’d be right there in line hours early.

A friendly 10C member was nice enough to get me the shirt I couldn’t get in Chicago.  As far as a poster , I got a settle klausen that someone got me that I’ll look for a trade for a Boston one. If not no biggie. Last show of the “tour” gonna soak it all in and a line isn’t that

We went to the merch stand yesterday around 4pm. Of course they were out of posters, etc., but one of the cashiers was talking about how they would take $100 to hold posters for people in the morning. I don't think she was kidding. I actually thought about taking her up on it.

Most ppl were buying for themselves and friends but there was a kid with an analog shirt and his mom who must have bought their full allotment (10 each). They spent a good 10-20 min rolling.

Seriously? I would have snapped a pic and sent that up the chain. That's fucked up.
  • Waste of time coming down here this morning. Create false hype by selling so few of the prints.
